Today, it’s Cru Du Beaujolais

Henry Fessy Cru Du Beaujolais – Brouilly 2014

Look –
Clear, medium density, dark ruby red.
Nose –
Clean, pronounced aromas of ripe juicy raspberries, strawberries and plums with just the right amount of black pepper spice. Over all, a very moorish aroma.
Taste –
A dry,  but light bodied wine with medium acidity, low tannin levels. Fresh/clean acidity and flavours of juicy berries and dried flowers with very small hints of savoury notes and parma violets. A lovely length of palate.
I’ve given this a 4/5 meaning Very Good quality – I love this wine, it’s a little quaffer made to have with food. Ocardo sell this for £12.99, but I got it for 25% less in their mix 6 deal.
